JFK'S TERMINAL 4 AND HUDSON GROUP RENEW LEASE; PLAN EXCITING RENOVATION FOR PREMIER AIRPORT NEWSSTAND

Parts of the store will be redesigned to look like a New York City loft apartment

NEW YORK, NY - May 10, 2006 - Terminal 4 at JFK International Airport has renewed the lease agreement for Hudson Group's Hudson News store at The Shops at Terminal 4 until 2013, announced JFK IAT, LLC, the company that operates the terminal, which services nearly 50 international and domestic carriers.

On April 26, Hudson began a $2.5 million renovation of its large (7,500 sq. ft.) Hudson News, located in the center of the Terminal 4 retail concourse. In addition to newsstand staples, such as magazines, candy and convenience items, the new store will feature a wide variety of specialty retail items. Much of the specialty retail merchandise will be displayed in a contiguous area redesigned to emulate a New York City loft space, with wood floors and fixtures, vaulted ceilings, and backlit "windows" overlooking renderings of the New York City skyline. Featured concepts will include a "Discover New York," "Christmas in New York" and a full-service Hudson Booksellers.

"Discover New York" merchandise will include jewelry, gifts and souvenirs direct from the city's top museums and cultural attractions, including the Bronx Zoo, the Metropolitan Opera, and the New York Stock Exchange. "Christmas in New York" will feature New York-themed holiday ornaments. And Hudson Booksellers will offer a complete, full-service bookstore.

When completed in July 2006, the new store will serve as one of Hudson Group's landmark locations - a flagship airport store to complement the company's rail terminal flagship store, located in historic Grand Central Station.

"We consider Hudson News at Terminal 4 to be a gateway to New York City and the entire United States," said Joe DiDomizio, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Hudson Group. "It is one of our most visible locations, so we are thrilled to continue this valuable partnership. We look forward to unveiling our new store to the public and continuing to provide travelers with all the reading materials and core convenience items they have come to expect from Hudson News. In addition, we hope that they will enjoy the experience of shopping for top-notch mementos of their visit to New York - in a most elegant and authentic loft setting."

Michael Sibilia, chief financial officer for Terminal 4, added, "We are pleased that Hudson Group has renewed its lease and has selected Terminal 4 to embark on this landmark renovation and expansion of Hudson News, one of Terminal 4's leading retailers. This exciting renovation will help to ensure that Terminal 4 continues to provide the top-notch customer service and quality travel experience that our patrons expect."

Hudson News' pre-security location allows family and friends to shop with the passenger before they board their flights. Hudson Group is also exploring plans to expand its post-security offerings at Terminal 4, adding concessions to the concourses where ticketed passengers await boarding.
