Exclusive DVD Edition of Anderson Cooper's Dispatches from the Edge
Available to Travelers at Hudson News/Hudson Booksellers

East Rutherford, NJ - May 04, 2007 - When the paperback edition of the New York Times bestselling book Dispatches from the Edge: A Memoir of War, Disasters and Survival, penned by Anderson Cooper, hits the shelves on May 8, an exclusive edition will be available only at Hudson News and Hudson Booksellers, the nation's #1 airport bookseller.

The special Hudson edition of the new paperback with a new afterward, published by HarperCollins, will include a free bound-in DVD, featuring an exclusive interview with the globe-canvassing anchor in addition to video footage from Cooper's Reporter's Notebooks.

"The paperback format is perfect for travelers, many of whom are already devoted CNN and Anderson Cooper 360 fans," said Sara Hinckley, Vice President, Book Buying and Promotions for Hudson Booksellers. "We anticipate that this book will be one of our top- selling paperbacks this year, and adding the free DVD is a great way to reward Hudson customers in a unique and meaningful way."

In May 2006, Hudson and CNN entered into a partnership to develop and operate exclusive co-branded newsstands in airports across North America. Co-branded stores opened recently in Pittsburgh and JFK, with more coming soon.

Dispatches from the Edge: A Memoir of War, Disasters and Survival, a critically acclaimed #1 New York Times bestseller, offers a rare view into Cooper's experiences, and provides his compelling first-hand testimony from over fifteen years of covering world events.
